Metabolomics, the large scale metabolite analysis, is becoming an attractive tool for the (un)targeted analysis of metabolites in particularly in complex biological systems. One of our aims is to uncover the role of root and root exuded metabolites in plant–rhizosphere communication. My research interests include, but are not limited to metabolite profiling, food chemistry, devolvement of LC-MS analytical methods and isolation of natural products. My main current research focuses on the use of metabolomics approaches linked to chemometrics for better understanding of relation between plant metabolites and rhizosphere.
