My research interests include the profiling and analysis of strigolactone in various plants and the role of strigolactone in plant stress responses such as drought stress. Additionally, broomrape (Orobanche spp.) presents a significant challenge in crop production, particularly in Mediterranean countries. Therefore, my focus is on the resistance mechanisms of tomatoes to Orobanche spp., both pre-attachment and post-attachment. These topics are interrelated since strigolactone is crucial for the germination of parasitic plants. They are significant for global food security and crop production.
